APPLICATIONS

The ACCS completed its fourth round of funding in February 2026 and is proud to support such diverse and talented artists from the world of dance, photography and associated arts.

Applications for our fifth round of funding are now open and will close at 6pm on Friday 4th December 2026. All applications will be reviewed in January 2027 without exception.

TYPES OF FUNDING

  • Revenue – a grant towards dance related activities or educational costs

  • Project costs – specific activities that have a start and end date

TYPES OF GRANTS

  • One off donations towards a project

  • Multi-year grants for a period of education

  • The foundation does not encourage applications for single grants over £10,000 and most grants will be smaller amounts of circa £1000 - £5000

HOW DO I APPLY?

Online application form: Please complete the application form HERE. For safety, we encourage you to save your answers to a locally stored document before submitting your application. No more than one application per person.

Budget: You must also download and complete our budget template (please do not use your own budget template). The completed budget should then be saved as a PDF (please include the applicant name in the filename) and uploaded with your application. To help you complete the budget template, you can download an example budget HERE.

Bank details: Successful applicants will be paid via bank transfer. Please add the account name, number and sort code to our online application form to allow swift and easy transfer of funds. All bank account information will be kept private. Please ensure all information required is provided accurately and in the correct format. Failure to do so will result in automatic disqualification.

Pictures, videos and other forms of media: If you feel that additional supporting material is essential to your application, please contact us via email.

Artificial Intelligence: We understand you might use artificial intelligence (AI) and other resources to assist with your application; however, please ensure all information you provide is factually accurate, truthful and original, and doesn’t include ideas or work that isn’t your own. We encourage you to showcase your unique knowledge and skills using your own voice.

WHAT HAPPENS AFTER I SUBMIT MY APPLICATION?

All applicants will receive a confirmation email acknowledging receipt of their application by the 31st December 2026. If you have not received a confirmation email by the 31st December 2026, please contact us via Instagram. Please do not contact use before this date. Confirmation emails will be sent some time between the application deadline and the end of December.

Your application will be considered by the trustees at their next meeting in January 2027. You will be contacted either way by the end of February and your application will be kept confidential. PLEASE NOTE, the ACCS reviews grant requests annually and exceptions cannot be made to this. Successful applicants will receive their funding in the first quarter of the year.

If you receive a grant from the ACCS then we would expect a short update or report from you once the money has been spent. This can take any form – a short film or a blog are as welcome as a letter.

CAN I AMEND MY APPLICATION AFTER IT’S BEEN SUBMITTED?

You cannot amend your application once it’s been received, so please ensure everything is correct before submitting.

IF I’VE PREVIOUSLY APPLIED TO THE ACCS, CAN I APPLY AGAIN?

Yes. Regardless of the outcome of your previous application, we welcome you to apply again. Please note, a previously successful application does not guarantee future applications will also be approved.

CAN I SUBMIT MORE THAN ONE APPLICATION?

No. You may only submit one application. However, if you’re involved in multiple projects, you can be named on more than one application. the only requirement is that each application is submitted by a different lead applicant.

IS THERE AN ALTERNATIVE WAY TO APPLY?

We encourage all applicants to apply via our online application form, however, the ACCS understands that some applicants may need to apply in a different format to this. Please email info@abderrahimcrickmay.comin advance of the application deadline to coordinate.

The ACCS is a small charity whose trustees - while committed to its mission - balance their involvement alongside other professional responsibilities and are therefore only able to dedicate a limited amount of time each year to reviewing applications. All of the trustees knew Anthony Crickmay personally, and his memory continues to guide and inspire our funding decisions.
